Analytical Cells
A special analytical cell kit is sold with the rotating electrodes. This kit is RDE0018.
It can be found on page A3 of the Rotator Accessories section. All of the pieces in this kit will work for a standard application. Please note that the kit RDE0018
contains two cell tops (RDE0010) and (K0066). The cell top RDE0010 has five holes:
four 14/20 standard taper ports to accept reference and counter electrodes, purge
tube, etc. and one slightly larger hole to accommodate the arbor from the rotating
disk electrode. The Polarographic Cell Top (K0066) contains five 14/20 standard
taper ports. Both cell tops in combination with the K0060, K0062 and K0064 cell
bottoms form a cell suitable for trace level analyses.

K0077 Saturated Calomel Reference Electrode
3.5" long, incorporating T14/20 standard taper joint for use with K0065 reference
electrode bridge tube. Formerly 9331. Replaces G0015.
G0093 Mercury-Mercurous Sulfate Reference Electrode
This reference electrode is identical in physical configuration to the Model K0077 Reference Electrode except that the Model G0093 electrode contains a mercury-
mercurous sulfate inner element immersed in a saturated potassium sulfate solution. This electrode is employed in situations in which the use of a saturated calomel electrode would be unsatisfactory, e.g., chloride analysis, silver analysis, etc.
K0065 Reference Electrode Bridge Tube with Vycor Frit
Provides isolation of K0077 or G0093 reference electrode from test solution to prevent contamination of test solution by reference electrode filling solution. Incorporates an unfired Vycor frit, making it ideal in situations where leakage of the test solution must be kept to an absolute minimum, with minimum electrical resistance. The K0065 reference electrode bridge tube comes complete and is ready to use immediately. Five replacement Vycor frits and five lengths of Teflon heat shrink tubing are also supplied.
K0103 Non-Aqueous Reference Electrode
Incorporates T14/20joint for use with K0065 reference electrode bridge tube. Inner element is a silver wire immersed in acetonitrile containing 0.1 M AgNO3. This
electrode is employed in applications involving non-aqueous supporting electroytes, such as benzene-methanol, acetonitrile and DMF.
G0155 Non-Aqueous Filling Solution
A solution of 0.1 M AgNO3 in acetonitrile for using the M303A or K0103 with non aqueous electrolytes. 125 ml.
G0100 Replacement Vycor Frits and Tubing
A package of five 4 mm diameter Vycor frits with five lengths of Teflon heat-shrink
tubing for refurbishing K0065 bridge tube. Also used with K0077, G0195, K0154, G0093, K0103, G0114, and G0095.
G0194 Polyethylene Frits and Tubing
An alternate material to the G0100. Recommended for use in strongly basic solutions which can dissolve Vycor. Package of 5.
G0070 Replacement Vycor Frits and Tubing
A package of five 7 mm Vycor frits with five lengths of Teflon heat-shrink tubing. Used with G0066, G0102, K0067, and K0068.
Solid Electrodes
G0021 Glassy Carbon Electrode
An electrode with planar impervious "glassy" carbon surface (28 mm2 surface area)polished to a mirror finish. Glassy carbon disk is fused into borosilicate tubing.
Useful for voltammetry at positive potentials and for stripping analysis. Incorporates T14/20 joint to fit K0066 cell top.
G0142 Gold Electrode
An epoxy-sealed electrode, supplied with a planar gold surface (7 mm2 surface area) polished to a mirror finish. Useful in voltammetry at positive potentials and for
stripping analysis of Hg, Se and As Incorporates a T14/20 joint to fit the K0066 cell top.
K0015 Polishing Kit
A kit for polishing graphite or cleaning glassy carbon electrodes. Complete with polishing cloth, 0.5u alumina, wash bottle and instruction sheet.
